Gursharn is a data-driven techie with a passion for start-ups and entrepreneurship. She is a familiar face in the Toronto tech scene – As a serial founder of tech-based startups in Toronto, and now as the Director of Startup Grind Toronto, a Global organization with over 3 million members. Sharn also enjoys lending her time and experience on the Advisory Board of up and coming startups.
She has also written for Fortune, has made appearances on BNN, CHCH, CityTV, CBC, and been quoted frequently in Inc.com; Betakit; Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, and The Financial Post as “Sharn Kandola” and “Sharn Bassi”.
She has been pursuing a career in the visual arts since the pandemic. Her work has been displayed across North America and Europe.
